The name of Toni Kroos has frequently come up in conversations due to current bad play of Real Madrid, with many people thinking that the squad is missing the German midfielder this year.

After the European Championship concluded earlier in the summer, Kroos announced his retirement from professional football.
In a recent interview with Mundo Deportivo, Kroos discussed his retirement, his time in Madrid and even his coaching future.
The midfield player went on to say, “I meant something to the Madrid supporters, and that is emotionally more important than any title.”
During his ten years at Real Madrid, Kroos made up to 465 competitive appearances.
The German midfielder won five Champions League championships with the squad, and he was a major contributor to its success over the last 10 years, reports Madrid Universal.
When asked if he would think about becoming a coach himself in the near future, Kroos said no. However, the German acknowledged that, at least for the next 10 years, coaching is not something he is interested in.
“Not right now. I’m not sure if things will change in a decade.
But I don’t want to go back to a routine that I’ve deliberately broken over the years.
“I don’t wish to return to this life immediately. “But I believe I would contribute something to the role of a coach,” he said.
