Real Madrid’s Move Reflects Fear Over Manchester United’s Battle For Leny Yoro

Lille has accepted Manchester United’s bid for teenage sensation Leny Yoro, but the club must still convince the defender to join them. Yoro has already signed to terms with Real Madrid, and they remain his top objective this summer. Reported by football espana.

The Red Devils’ bid is rumored to be between €45-50 million, while Real Madrid does not want to spend more than €40 million. Los Blancos, on the other hand, appear to be taking United’s challenge seriously, as Fabrizio Romano disclosed that they spoke with Yoro again this week.

They did so to remind the defender of their priority and how vital he is to their future plans. Negotiations with Lille continue, but Real Madrid has not guaranteed that Yoro will join them this summer. Either on their terms or next summer, when Yoro’s contract expires.

The centre-back wants to go this summer, and accepting United’s bid would ensure that, but Real Madrid is undoubtedly confident of completing a deal this summer, as Lille will not want to risk Yoro leaving for free next year. However, it is interesting to note that Real Madrid has supposedly located an alternative to Yoro.
