Real Madrid are reportedly set to swoop for Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies in the next summer transfer window.
The Laliga giants currently possess much depth in the left-back position, as Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia are the left-sided fullback at the club. David Alaba can also operate in the position, even though Carlo Ancelotti has seen him as a centre-back rather than a fullback.
Since joining Bayern in the 2018–19 season, Davies has made a name for himself as one of the finest in the world in that part of the pitch.
Davies currently has two years left on his existing contract at the club. Bayern will be hoping to tie him up with an extension in order to drive the likes of Madrid away from making contact with him.
However, Marca claims that Davies has no desire to sign new contracts at the Allianz Arena.
According to the report, the 22-year-old is ready to seize any chance to play for Real Madrid, a club which he has long been an admirer.

Despite the fact that the Canada international’s development has occasionally been hampered by injury, he has made 157 appearances across all competitions with eight goals and 28 assists to his name.
