Real Madrid Plan To Strengthen Three More Positions After Mbappe Signing

Real Madrid made a flying start to the summer transfer season by signing Kylian Mbappe from PSG on a free transfer.

Following that, two additional signings appeared to be in the works, with the Merengues interested in Leny Yoro and Alphonso Davies.

However, things have not gone as planned on either front, with Yoro joining Manchester United and Davies likely to stay at Bayern Munich for another year.

The transfer window is still not over.

It has led to speculation that Real Madrid’s summer transfer window may have already closed.

However, according to The Athletic, Real Madrid intends to strengthen three additional positions following the signing of Kylian Mbappe.

They plan to bolster three positions: center-back, goalie, and left-back.

Yoro was the primary target for the centre-back position. Now, until an exciting possibility emerges in the market, Real Madrid intends to stick with their existing possibilities.

A new goalkeeper signing is dependent on how Andriy Lunin performs, yet it appears that he will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.

In that case, Los Blancos will look for a new No. 2, with all indicators pointing to Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Finally, Alphonso Davies remains the key aim for the left-back position.

However, with Bayern Munich unwilling to drop their offer for him and willing to let him run out his contract, a deal could be difficult to complete.
