Real Madrid has four Premier League players on their mega-shortlist for the upcoming summer, including Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool.
The English player has been associated with the European champions for some time, and when his Reds contract expires in the summer of 2020, the Spanish powerhouses may be able to sign him for nothing.

Real Madrid is ready to show off its financial might next summer, following their sensational free-agent acquisition of Kylian Mbappe during the most recent transfer window.
Real Madrid also want to sign Rodri, following his exploits for Manchester City and Spain, whom he assisted in winning the Euro 2024 championship.
The two other Premier League players on Real Madrid’s shortlist are defender William Saliba of Arsenal and Cristian Romero of Tottenham. Real Madrid want to recruit one of these players.
Given his contract circumstances, Alexander-Arnold may be the most attainable of the four players connected to Real Madrid.
It could take some convincing from Los Blancos to get the 25-year-old to quit his childhood club, though, as the Reds are keen to keep him on their roster.
However, considering that Rodri is under contract with the Premier League winners until 2027, signing him would cost an absurd amount of money.
The contracts of Premier League defenders Saliba and Romero, who play for Arsenal and Tottenham will expire in 2027, reports Daily Mail.
Real Madrid dispatched a scout to Sunday’s north London derby, which saw Saliba’s Arsenal team defeat Romero’s Tottenham team 1-0.
Romero conceded the game-winning goal after Arsenal’s Gabriel outmuscled him in the air.
