Real Madrid have reportedly sealed an agreement to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer ahead of the 2024 summer transfer window.
At the end of the current campaign, Mbappe’s contract with the Ligue 1 champions will expire. Due to his uncertain future, PSG are considering another contract extension, while Madrid has been hatching a scheme to sign him for free.
According to French publication Foot Mercato as reported by Liverpool Echo, Mbappe will line up at the Bernabeu in the upcoming season.
The report claims that Mbappe and Madrid have come to an agreement as the latter try to push into yet another era of dominance both at home and throughout Europe.
The France international was permitted to meet with foreign clubs on January 1st in order to finalize a pre-contract arrangement. And when his contract expires in the summer, Mbappe will join Los Blancos on a free transfer, if the most recent report is accurate.
Furthermore, The Times stated that Mbappe has told friends that the La Liga giants won’t decide his future for him. Mbappe’s mother, agent, and advisor Fayza Lamari is said to be evaluating Premier League opportunities.
The 25-year-old is an admirer of Liverpool and has expressed his regard for manager Jurgen Klopp in the past. Before Mbappe signed a lucrative extension in the French capital in 2022, “talks” were reportedly held between the Reds and the player.

It was also widely claimed that he had contacts with them during his time at AS Monaco.
Senior sources at the Parc des Princes are reportedly at ease about the player’s future. But the report also asserts that PSG are certain they won’t lose the World Cup winner to Liverpool.
