Real Madrid Receive Bellingham Injury Boost

Real Madrid are one of the clubs that have been ravaged with injuries of varying degrees since the beginning of the 2024/25 season.

One of Los Blancos shining lights, Jude Bellingham is one of the group of players on the treatment table and he is currently recuperating from the injury he sustained against RCD Mallorca, and was ruled out for a month.

According to Football Espana, the 21-year-old might return a little earlier than anticipated. He is expected to be called up by Carlo Ancelotti for their Saturday night away match to Real Sociedad. And he may even make a cameo.

It is also anticipated that Ferland Mendy will return, and Cortegana speculates that Aurelien Tchouameni might as well, though this is debatable.

Although Jesus Vallejo might be available, it is said that youngster Jacobo Ramon is the most qualified to start in place of Eder Militao, who sustained another injury while on international duty.

The expectation is that French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who has been in Dubai, will return before the end of September. He is still a few weeks away from returning to the grass.

That date is important since it’s their last game before the Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid in October. Los Blancos have occasionally had trouble establishing a connection between the midfield and the attack.

If Bellingham returns, that may also be very important for Ancelotti’s side.

Sociedad are also beset by injuries; Mikel Oyarzabal is a serious doubt. Brais Mendez, Hamari Traore, Aritz Elustondo, Arsen Zakharyan, and Alvaro Odriozola have all been ruled out for the game.
