On the other hand, Real Madrid is the most popular football team on social media platforms, and brand power is an important factor for brands.
Manchester City was rated second on the list of the ten most valuable clubs, with $1.7 billion, followed by their English Premier League rivals Chelsea in tenth position with $897 million.
Furthermore, the overall brand value of Turkey’s four most valuable football clubs as of 2024 was calculated to be $44 million.
“Sports achievements have a significant impact on the soft power of countries,” said Muhterem Ilguner, Brand Finance Türkiye’s director.
“Success in sports, especially in football, is not a coincidence, and for this, federations must work consistently, decisively and patiently in line with a certain strategy,” according to Sky sport.
