Real Madrid Slams FC Barcelona And Olmo For ‘Sea Of Filth’ In ‘Third World Competition’

Real Madrid TV attacked FC Barcelona, its arch rival, and a “sea of filth” that it must cross in a “third world competition”.

Barcelona presently has a perfect record in La Liga after winning three consecutive season openers under Hansi Flick for the first time since winning the title in 2018/2019.

The most recent of these victories was a 2-1 comeback win away at Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday night, with Dani Olmo serving as MVP and scoring the winning goal after being provisionally registered over three weeks after his $60 million transfer from RB Leipzig.

Reacting to the Catalans’ victory in Vallecas, Real Madrid TV noted how its club’s main rival was “forgiven a very clear expulsion for [Pau] Cubarsi at the Mestalla” on the first day of the season – in another 2-1 win for Flick’s men against Valencia – while Los Blancos were denied a penalty in a 1-1 opening day draw with Mallorca.

“It’s not the fault of the rival, it’s the fault of those who allow it,” Real Madrid TV emphasized.

“If [Pablo] Maffeo is permitted to do that and is not shown a red card, he will continue to do so. Of course, if he does it against another opponent, he will be sent out. “It is what it is.”

Real Madrid did take issue with Barcelona directly, however, because Olmo was allowed to play despite the Blaugrana’s Financial Fair Play difficulties.

“Barca is permitted to register athletes who claim that a month or month and a half ailment is long-term. They let him to do this, and he [Olmo] ends up being pivotal yesterday in Vallecas.”  it said.
