Real Madrid Star Trolls Barcelona Following Leganes Loss

Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger appears to make fun at Barcelona following their recent loss to Leganes on Sunday night.

On Saturday night in Vallecas, Rayo Vallecano held Madrid to a 3-3 draw, doing Barca a favor barely 24 hours earlier.

As a result, Carlo Ancelotti’s team lost a chance to lead by one point. The Blaugrana then had the opportunity to defeat relegation-threatened opponents, Leganes at Montjuic to go four points clear of the reigning champions and three ahead of Atletico Madrid.

But as it turned out, Barcelona lost at home for the second time in a row after losing 2-1 to Las Palmas two weeks prior due to their inability to respond to an early goal from Sergio Poirrier.

In a social post by El Chiringuito, Rudiger was seen making jest of the Catalan club by showing off the full-time result during an event.

Blaugrana midfielder Pedri bemoaned the lackluster performance as a “f*cked up game” in his post-match remarks and called for more from both himself and his teammates.

“It is impossible to leave happy today. I think we started a little asleep, they scored that goal against us. And then we woke up, we created chances, but we lacked spark,” the playmaker said to TV3.

“We have to get into the games better. When a team like that scores quickly, they put a lot of people behind [the ball]. And we lacked the spark I said and clarity in front of goal. We’re on a bad run and we have to improve.”
