Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti reportedly revealed that David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga are likely to miss his side’s Copa del Rey final clash against Barcelona on Saturday.
Camavinga was replaced by Alaba during the half time of Wednesday’s La Liga match against Getafe. Although the Austrian managed to finish the match, which Real Madrid won 1-0, he was experiencing agony in the closing minutes.
According to Sports Mole, Ancelotti stated during the game that neither Camavinga nor Alaba will likely get their muscular issues fixed in time to play in this weekend’s El Clasico.
“David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga have picked up muscle injuries. They’re unlikely to recover in time for the Barcelona match,” Ancelotti told reporters when questioned on the duo.

Fran Garcia will probably start at left-back against Barcelona due to Ferland Mendy’s extended absence, but the Frenchman may return this weekend from a muscular injury of his own.
Real Madrid are hoping Kylian Mbappe can recover from an ankle injury so he can play in El Clasico, but Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal are still out with knee injuries.
It’s unclear if Mbappe will be deemed fully fit for the Copa del Rey final after missing Madrid’s last two league games, one of which was due to suspension.
The Spanish giants kept the title fight alive going into the final straight on Wednesday by moving within four points of Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table thanks to a goal from Arda Guler, the game’s only goal against Getafe.
