Real Madrid Worried As Chelsea Plot Move For €60M Star

Chelsea are reportedly planning a move for Bournemouth defender, Dean Huijsen in the summer transfer window leaving Real Madrid concerned.

With manager Enzo Maresca eager to get the gifted young Spain international out of the Cherries before June 14th, it appears the Blues are committed to winning the race for Huijsen.

According to AS as reported by Caught Offside, Chelsea are prepared to activate Huijsen’s €60 million release clause in order to complete the deal, which would enable them to deploy him in the Club World Cup.

However, it appears that Real Madrid are also interested in Huijsen and are becoming increasingly alarmed by Chelsea’s pursuit of the 20-year-old.

Furthermore, The report claims that the Spanish Football Federation is worried about this specific Chelsea news since they would prefer that Huijsen be available for the Under-21 team rather than competing in the Club World Cup.

Given how impressive Huijsen has been for Bournemouth, it is not shocking that Chelsea and several other elite teams have recently expressed interest in signing him.

According to David Ornstein, Huijsen is also being pursued by teams like Liverpool and Arsenal, but it appears the Blues are becoming more and more involved.

After another somewhat disappointing season, the west London-based club undoubtedly needs a strong transfer window.

Wesley Fofana has been prone to injuries during his time at Stamford Bridge, and Huijsen is unquestionably an improvement over players like Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, and Trevoh Chalobah.
