Real Madrid Youngster Set To Play Against AC Milan Following Injury Recovery

Real Madrid Jesus Vallejo was seen hobbling out of training on Monday and it appeared Raul Asencio would start alongside Rudiger against AC Milan this evening in Vallejo’s place.

On Tuesday night, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti announced that there would be no more signings by hanging the sign that read “closed for business” over the entrance for this transfer window.

David Alaba’s injury will keep him out of play for several more months and Eder Militao hasn’t joined Los Blancos yet, so Ancelotti’s only choices are Jesus Vallejo and Antonio Rudiger.

However, Vallejo recovered from his muscular soreness and made it through their last training before the game. He will now likely start the match against Milan and Militao will likely play in their second friendly against Barcelona.

The dynamic front three of Arda Guler, Brahim Diaz, and new recruit Endrick Felipe will also be shown to Real Madrid supporters.

While Vallejo’s return lessens Asencio’s and the other two young central defenders, Jacobo Ramon and Joan Martinez,’s prospects of making a significant impression on Ancelotti, they will still likely play some minutes on their preseason tour.

The Italian manager has a history of selecting more seasoned players over younger players, reports Espana
