Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe is yet to earn a portion of his income from the final three months of his Paris Saint-Germain deal. The situation appears to be heading for a judicial battle, with PSG saying they do not owe the 25-year-old the full amount.
It is thought that PSG is alluding to a verbal agreement with Mbappe that he would ‘not leave PSG for free’ and would waive some of his remaining income before his contract expired. However, Mbappe’s camp has refuted any such allegations, but has issued formal warnings to PSG, threatening legal action.

According to previous reports, Mbappe was not paid for the months of April, May, and June of his contract, as well as a portion of his €80 million signing bonus. According to Le Monde (via MD), Mbappe’s legal team has approached the legal bureaus of the LFP (French League Federation), FFF (French Football Federation), and UEFA about the subject, saying he is owed €55 million for the aforementioned payments as well as a ‘ethical bonus’.
The legal battle might last for years, with the essential component being testimony from Mbappe and PSG management. Last year, Neymar Junior appeared in court over salary disagreements with Barcelona that dated back six years.
