Real Madrid have reportedly reignited their interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and set aside funds to sign him next summer. Sancho, 19, has been turning heads with his displays for BVB, having scored 12 goals from 34 Bundesliga appearances last season.
The man capped 10 times by England has carried that form into 2019-2020, with four goals from 12 outings in all competitions seeing him linked with a number of top clubs.
Manchester United have made no secret of their admiration for the talented winger who came up through the Manchester City youth set-up before heading to Germany to find a way into first-team football.
It was certainly the correct move, as the youngster has not looked back, with Real showing an interest last summer.
Things seemed to go quite on that front but, according to the Daily Mail, Los Blancos bosses are back in for Sancho and ready to better anything that the Red Devils might offer for the player.
It is open to debate as to how much he would cost but, with the current inflated market, it would be no surprise if he was valued at around the £100m mark – a fee that Real would reportedly be happy to pay to secure his signature.
It has been claimed that Dortmund expect to lose the starlet next summer and will try to get as much as they can for him to bring in a big-name star in order to appease their fans.
Paris Saint-Germain have also expressed an interest in the past and that fee would not scare the Ligue 1 giants.
