Jamie Redknapp believes that Arsenal are firmly back in the Premier League title race after their 4-0 win over Watford on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger’s men made it back to back wins in the top flight thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez, Alex Iwobi, Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott in north London.
That win left Arsenal four points behind second-placed Tottenham with a game in hand heading into their final seven matches of the season.
The north London side have been written out of the title race by many following their recent dip in form.
But former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Redknapp says that the Gunners must now be included in talk of the title race as the season hots up.
Speaking on Sky Sports after Tottenham’s 1-1 draw at Liverpool on Saturday, Redknapp said: “It’s uncharted territory not just for Leicester but Tottenham. Are Arsenal back in the equation now? You’d have to say yes.”
He added: “You can’t rule Tottenham or Arsenal out.”
Arsenal’s next Premier League game is a tricky trip to Upton Park to take on West Ham United on Saturday lunchtime.
