With a crushing 6-0 victory over Stoke City on Easter Monday, Leeds earned promotion, but the team’s American owners are considering replacements.
According to a report, Farke’s employment is in jeopardy due to concerns over his capacity to maintain the team’s position in the top flight.
“No final decision has been taken, and it is understood that a contentious move like this could backfire, at least among the club’s followers. However, in front of what is a crucial time for the team, other applicants are being investigated,” Mike Keegan writes.
Although it would be extremely bold to fire Farke after a promotion, the last six promoted Championship teams were all demoted from the Premier League the following season.
