Manchester United are reportedly planning an audacious move to sign Chelsea winger Willian in the January transfer window.
Willian, who is valued at £25 million, hasn’t been able to command a starting berth for Chelsea of late, with Pedro being preferred instead of him, and the Brazilian has now been linked with a sensational move to Old Trafford.
As reported by The Sun, United manager Jose Mourinho is eager to be re-united with Willian, with whom he worked during his time at Stamford Bridge.
There is little doubt that Willian would provide United with an injection of quality should the move come to fruition- he has created 24 chances in the Premier League this season, while he has been successful with 90% of his attempted passes.
However, even though he may not be an automatic choice in Antonio Conte’s starting line-up at present, it is difficult to envisage Willian leaving Chelsea in the near future, such is his quality.
