Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reportedly been in contact with Chelsea forward Eden Hazard over a summer transfer to the Bernabeu.
The Belgium international remains a priority target for Los Blancos after initial talks last summer, and Zidane has kept up contact with the player since then, according to sources in Spain.
The Frenchman has made it clear in the past that Hazard is one of his favourite players, and it seems he could finally land his man this summer.
Real president Florentino Perez has promised Zidane a big signing in more than one area of the pitch, and the manager has made Hazard one of his top priorities, according to Diario Gol.
Chelsea will not want to lose such an in-form player, with Hazard back to his very best this season after a bit of a slump in 2015/16.
The 26-year-old has 11 goals and four assists in all competitions, and possesses the kind of technique and flair that would make him a big hit in the Spanish capital.
Real are known for their Galactico signings down the years, and tend to get the players they want, though Chelsea have not become known as a selling club in the Roman Abramovich years, and battled hard to keep Diego Costa amid interest from the Chinese Super League in January.
Still, the report from Diario Gol claims Zidane has informed Hazard that he expects Madrid to come in with a big bid for his services this summer.
