Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has confirmed that Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses, Tianjin Teda midfielder John Obi Mikel and ex-Watford star Odion Ighalo are in line to feature against England in a pre-World Cup friendly at Wembley on Saturday, June 2.
Whilst Moses was excused from the friendly against Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday, Chinese-based duo Mikel and Ighalo were non-playing substitutes following their long trip from Asia.
Rohr added that Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has a slim chance of playing against the Three Lions.
”In Wembley, there will be pitch which is one of the best in the world, everybody wants to play,” Rohr told Channels Television.
”We will have our captain Obi Mikel, Victor Moses will be with us of course, I hope that Ndidi will be ready also, we made a very special programme for him.
”And we will have Ighalo also, so it’s already four key players for us who should be there.
”I think it would be an interesting match for us to learn and to see how we can play offensively. ”
Saturday’s encounter, the third official match between England and Nigeria , will start at 17:15 hours.
