AS Roma have reportedly initiated talks over the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro.
Over the last four Premier League games, Casemiro has not played a single minute for United.
With Bruno Fernandes being deployed deeper in midfield and Manuel Ugarte emerging as an important player for Ruben Amorim, the Brazilian’s role in the team is decreasing.
Although Casemiro has not had any firm bids from the Middle East, he may yet leave the Red Devils this month.

According to Tuttomercatoweb as reported by Sport Witness, the 32-year-old is being pursued by Italian outfit, Roma.
The lack of clarity surrounding Leandro Paredes’ future, which Boca Juniors are interested in, is largely responsible for the interest shown by the Italian club, who have made initial contact in recent days.
According to reports, Casemiro is “open to saying goodbye” to ManUnited and would be open to joining Roma.
It’s unclear if the Giallorossi will be able to match the midfielder’s earnings, but an offer could come in the last days of the January transfer window.
Roma have put a halt to their chase of Casemiro for the time being, but they may pick it up again in the days ahead.
