Despite Egypt not making it to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah is anticipating the event.
Salah still thinks the tournament is significant and wants to be in Qatar to watch it, despite the fact that Egypt was eliminated from the playoffs by Senegal on post-match penalties in March.
In a BeIN Sports interview, Salah remarked, “I may be in Qatar during the World Cup.”
“I feel very happy that the tournament will be held for the first time in an Arab country. Everyone in the Arab world supports Qatar. I think the 2022 World Cup will be special.”
What Does Salah Think About The Premier League?
With the World Cup in November and December, Salah would like to have Liverpool on the route to Premier League and Uefa Champions League triumph by the midseason break.
Furthermore, he believes the championship fight will not be decided by his club and Manchester City, as many have indicated.
“Chelsea will be in the picture, Arsenal and us too. It is true that City were champions, but twice they won by one point, and there was a lot of competition.
“I hope we win the title this season,” said the two-time PFA Player of the Year.

“My personal goals will come, but we want to win the League and the Champions League this season and next season as well.
“You should not think about individual goals at the moment. They will come as long as I help the team win trophies.”
After months of rumors about his future, Salah signed a new three-year contract with Liverpool in July. The forward claims he did not second-guess signing the deal considering the quality the Reds have.
Last season, Salah won the Premier League Golden Boot Award after scoring 23 goals in the top division as his team narrowly missed winning the championship by one point. He also got his second PFA Award.
