Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes has reportedly claimed Ruben Amorim is lying and predicted the Portuguese coach’s honest judgement on Manchester United’s squad.
Since taking Erik ten Hag’s place at United at the end of last year, Amorim has had struggles.
The Red Devils are currently placed 13th in the Premier League standings, and their head coach has had difficulty implementing his preferred 3-4-3 formation.
The Manchester club are concentrating on the Europa League because they have been eliminated in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

On Thursday night, United and Lyon played 2-2 in the first leg of their quarterfinal Europa League match.
Amorim has defended the shot-stopper and implied that his team is improving, even though Andre Onana was responsible for both of Lyon’s goals.
“What’s important is to focus on the next game,” Amorim said while also claiming his Man Utd are improving.
“When one player makes a mistake, all of the team makes a mistake so we continue like that.”
According to Football 365, Scholes does not think Amorim is being honest about his Man Utd squad, as he “always looks disappointed”.
“I don’t think he believes that, to be honest with you. Don’t think he likes his team, to be honest with you,” Scholes told TNT Sports.
“I think he knows he hasn’t got a great football team. I think he wants better, he needs better and I think you can see that with the way he is on the touchline.
“He always looks disappointed to me. The way he is speaking there tells me he is disappointed with what he’s got.”
