Scotland have booked their place at the T20 World Cup next year thanks to a 90-run win over United Arab Emirates. Having finished a disappointing fourth in Group A, the Scots have managed to turn things around this month to win their playoff against the UAE in Dubai on Wednesday. Opener George Munsey played a key role as his 65 set Scotland on their way to a total of 198-6. Kyle Coetzer (34) and Richie Berrington (48) also impressed with the bat to give the UAE a tough total to overcome. The hosts fell well short of the total and were all out for just 108, as Safyaan Sharif and Mark Watt took three wickets each to rattle through the UAE batting order. Scotland can now look forward to the tournament which takes place between October 18 and November 15 in Australia next year.
