Sokari close to €1.5m move to Turkish giants Basaksehir

Nigerian midfielder Kingsley Sokari is closing in on a dream move to emerging football power house in Turkey Istanbul Basaksehir from his Tunisian club CS Sfaxien.

Sfaxien are reportedly already in talks with the Turkish side over the transfer of the 22-year-old.

Per the report a bid was lodged by the Turkish side on the 17 to 18th of April but it fell below the demands of Sfaxien, who are keen on selling him to a club abroad rather than their local rival Etoile Du Sahel who have already failed with a bid.

Sfaxien are demanding a fee believed to be in the region of €1.5m? which is higher than the €800,000 bid made by the Turkish side in their opening bid for the Nigerian who has a year left on his deal with Sfaxien.

The two clubs are however expected to continue talks over his transfer and from all indication an agreement might not be far off as Sfaxien won’t want to lose him on a free when his contract expires at the end of next season.
