Stoke City have confirmed the arrival of Wilfried Bony from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal.
Bony joined Man City in January last year from Swansea City for a fee of around £25 million but he has failed to live up to that transfer fee and now departs the Etihad Stadium.
The Ivory Coast striker scored just four goals in the Premier League last season and fell out of favour under Manuel Pellegrini before being completely cast aside by Pep Guardiola this summer.

Rumours had linked Everton and West Ham United to the signing of Bony, but it is Stoke City who have confirmed his arrival on a season-long loan deal.
Bony has been in the Premier League now for three full seasons having spent one-and-a-half seasons at both Man City and Swansea, but he struggled to live up to the hype he set himself during his spell in Wales.
In 54 appearances in the top flight for Swansea, Bony scored 26 goals – including 17 in 34 games in his first campaign in England.
He now joins Stoke where he will benefit from the creative talents of Bojan, Xherdan Shaqiri and Marko Arnautovic as Mark Hughes continues to bring talented technicians to the Potters.
