Summerville On The Verge Of Joining Premier League Club

West Ham United are reportedly on the cusp on sealing a transfer deal for Leeds United forward, Crysencio Summerville.

The 22-year-old appears to be a brilliant player, and one imagines he’s talented enough to contribute in the Premier League next season. Though for the time being it’s possible he’ll remain in the Championship.

According to a report from talkSPORT as cited by Caught Offside, West Ham are nearing completion in acquiring Summerville. The Hammers, though appear to be unwilling to spend £20 million for the Dutchman.

According to the publication, Leeds are under less pressure to accept offers for Summerville because of the financial windfall they received by selling Archie Gray to Tottenham.

This is obviously bad news for West Ham, who could have benefited from adding a player with flair like this. The Netherlands star could be a great long-term addition, and they might even be able to sell him for a big profit down the road.

It will be fascinating to watch who West Ham try to sign in place of Summerville. This is because not many good wingers will be available for £20 million.

Reiss Nelson to West Ham may be interesting to see, but it’s unlikely that he will leave Arsenal for a very low price.
