Ten Hag Confident Man United ‘Won’t Sack Him’ After INEOS And Glazers Meeting

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag believes he won’t be sacked amid INEOS and the Glazers meeting today to discuss his future.

Since he held onto his job at the end of last season after United’s unexpected FA Cup victory against Manchester City, the Dutchman has been under increasing pressure. The Red Devils are now in 14th place in the Premier League.

Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has openly supported Ten Hag up until this point. However, according to the Daily Star, following a terrible start to the season, the Brit and other United officials are scheduled to attend a prearranged meeting in London on Tuesday.

With Ten Hag’s future at the top of the agenda, Joel Glazer, who represents the majority owners, is also anticipated to attend. According to ESPN, the club’s top dogs are alarmed by the performances and outcomes of this campaign thus far.

This doesn’t appear to have bothered the 54-year-old, though, who according to ESPN sources feels his job isn’t in imminent danger after speaking with hierarchies following United’s 0-0 stalemate with Aston Villa this past weekend, which solidified their worst Premier League start to date.

The Dutchman is so sure of himself that he chose to take a vacation during the international break rather than try to figure out how to make things better during the remaining domestic action.

Before facing their previous manager Jose Mourinho on a difficult trip to Fenerbache, United’s next game comes at home against Brentford.
