Ten Hag: Cristiano Ronaldo Is Going Nowhere

Cristiano Ronaldo will remain at Manchester United, according to Erik ten Hag, who also assured Aaron Wan-Bissaka won’t leave.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been strongly linked with a late summer transfer, but Erik ten Hag has reiterated that the Portuguese star still remain in his Manchester United plans.

Meanwhile, out-of-favour defender, Wan-Bissaka, has also been ruled out of a move by the Dutch manager.

Ten Hag stated that Man United ‘need quality players’, and as such won’t allow any outward movements.

What Did Ten Hag Say About Ronaldo?

When asked if Ronaldo will remain, Ten Hag responded: “It’s clear, of course [Ronaldo is still part of my plans],” he said.

“We need quality players, and you need more to cover all of the games and to keep our consistency going. That is what we strive for.”

Regarding Wan-Bissaka, the United manager added: “Of course, Aaron is still here, and we will keep him,” he said.

“This squad will go from September until minimum January. We will play with this squad this season.”

Meanwhile, for the first time since December 2021, United will attempt to win their third straight Premier League game when they travel  to Leicester on Thursday.
