David Moyes has reportedly heaped praise on Erik ten Hag amid increasing pressure at Manchester United.
After finishing eighth last season, the Red Devils are currently in 14th place in the league rankings and are suffering their worst-ever start to a Premier League season.
Given that United just drew 0-0 with Aston Villa after blowing a two-goal lead against Porto in the Europa League, Ten Hag is under increasing pressure to deliver results.
Despite this, United executives maintain that the Dutchman has their support and will use the international break to improve United’s campaign.
Although a number of pundits and fans have criticized him for his recent performance, Daily Mail claimed that former United manager David Moyes has commended the 54-year-old, highlighting one crucial quality that has evidently served him well.
“I think he’s doing a brilliant job. I think he’s shown brilliant resilience in the situation that he’s in and I think he should be credited for how well he’s conducted himself.

“As far as I know, I don’t see him ducking any questions or any media interviews that you people [the media] put forward to him.
“I think you have to give him great credit for that but it’s a job that is going to attract immense pressure, people talking, so I have to say that I think he’s doing a brilliant job,” Moyes said.
