Erik ten Hag has reportedly signed a one-year contract extension at Manchester United until 2026.
The Dutchman, who oversaw United’s worst season in the Premier League was given the go ahead to continue as the club’s manager by minority stakeholder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe after an end-of-season review..
Ten Hag shared his excitement about the news in an official statement published on United’s website.
“In my discussions with the club, we have found complete unity in our vision for reaching those goals, and we are all strongly committed to making that journey together.”

The new deal shows that Ten Hag has more backing from the leadership group, which now includes technical director Jason Wilcox and new sporting director Dan Ashworth.
Discussions on Ruud van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake joining him at Old Trafford are still ongoing.
