The Fight Against ALS Wins! Barca And City Draw In Friendly

In order to participate in a fundraiser at Camp Nou for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) research, Barcelona and Manchester City both interrupted their respective season campaigns.

A thrilling 3-3 tie was played in front of the 91,962 spectators who had come to the stadium to support the former goalkeeper Juan Carlos Unzue.

Prior to goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Frenkie de Jong, Argentine attacker Julian Alvarez gave City the lead.

Cole Palmer then equalised for City almost immediately. Memphis Depay then put Barca back ahead, before Riyad Mahrez scored an injury-time penalty for City.
