Jose Mourinho has fuelled the Manchester United rumours by claiming he has a ‘good offer’ on the table and ruled out a return to Portugal.
Mourinho has been out of work since he left Chelsea by mutual consent in December but has been linked with a return to the Premier League with United.
The Portuguese has reportedly already begun house hunting in Cheshire, with The Sun claiming an agent is vetting properties for the 53-year-old.
It’s understood his agent Jorge Mendes met with United’s executive vice- chairman Ed Woodward this week to iron out any problems with the deal.
And speaking at a launch for Lipton Ice Tea in Lisbon today, the former Real Madrid boss fuelled the rumours by announcing he has a ‘good offer’ on the table.
“I can almost guarantee you that I’ll be back working this summer – I’ve good offers on the table,” he said.
“One thing is certain, my future won’t be at Estoril or Paços, because they won’t change manager.
“At the end of the season we’ll know where my future lies. I want to be at a place where I’m truly wanted.”
