Thierry Henry has waxed poetic over Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli ahead of Brazil’s Copa America campaign this summer.
The attacker was praised by him for delivering “100 percent every single game” and for his improvement under Mikel Arteta in the last several seasons.
Throughout 44 games last season, the 22-year-old collected five assists and eight goals, reports Football London
But just one of his goals came after February, as Leandro Trossard took the wide player’s starting position for the last few months of the year.
After recovering from a foot injury in March, he started three of the team’s four knockout Champions League games, although he only started one Premier League game.

Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. of Real Madrid are anticipated to start, but Martinelli will have to wait his turn if he wants to show off his skills for Brazil this summer.
Henry was highlighting Martinelli while giving a preview of the Premier League event, which begins on Thursday.
The legendary player from Arsenal, who will captain France’s team in the Olympics in Paris, praised the young player, citing three traits and expressing his respect for his development over the last few years.
“You can go and press with him, or you can play low with him on the counter,” he stated.
I find it astounding how much better he is now. Because he provides 100 [percent] every game, he is adored by the Arsenal fans.
