Before the 2024–2025 season, Thomas Müller is unclear of his position at Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany.
Thomas Müller is one person who has suffered as a result of Bayern Munich’s recent flings with other coaches.
It was only towards the conclusion of his time that Julian Nagelsmann started to completely trust him in the big games, something he did not always do.

Müller had played so rarely under the previous Chelsea FC manager that it stunned everyone when Thomas Tuchel started him against Real Madrid in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal in the 2023–2024 season.
Müller, according to kicker’s Georg Holzner, is uncertain: “I’m not sure what my role will be at this time, reports Bavarian Football.
For that, football is just too energetic and fast-paced. I have so much energy and am in great condition. The rest, we’ll see about.
Müller of course understands the situation is not unique to him and wants to set himself apart: “It’s a new situation for everyone. Of course I hope I can make a positive contribution with the qualities I have, which set me apart from others and that the coach will want to rely on them.
I’m working very hard to get as much playing time as possible — but that’s what everyone wants.”
