Walker’s future was placed into doubt by Pep Guardiola when he acknowledged that he couldn’t execute key tactical adjustments, although he did praise other qualities: “He has other characteristics. He will always have pace.
“He will be the fastest in this room at 60 years old.”
On the last day of the campaign, Bayern barely held onto the league title after scoring late against Koln to pass Dortmund in the standings.
Sadio Mane may be one of the high-profile players to leave the team as Tuchel looks to impose his identity on the squad.
