Three Newcastle United players might be targets for Manchester United if Sir Jim Ratcliffe appoints Dan Ashworth to the Old Trafford team.
The news of British billionaire and INEOS CEO Ratcliffe’s agreement to purchase a 25% share in the Old Trafford club was first reported back in December.

Ratcliffe and his group are expected to oversee football operations while the Glazers handle business matters.
Ratcliffe’s contract was formally approved by the Premier League on Tuesday.
Omar Berrada, the chief executive officer, was previously enticed from Manchester City by Ratcliffe’s INEOS team since his arrival.
Ashworth of Newcastle is reportedly of interest to United for the position of sporting director.
Following the most recent event, United may target these three players in the event that Ashworth signs with the team.
Guimaraes Bruno
After making an impression in the middle of the pitch, Brazilian sensation Guimaraes has become one of Newcastle’s biggest stars.
Louis Saha, a former player for United, has already pleaded with the team to sign the midfielder, who would be Casemiro’s ideal teammate.
“Manchester United should definitely look at this option because Bruno is a quality midfielder,” stated Saha. “However, they also need to find midfielders who are best suited to Erik ten Hag’s style of play and vision.”
It has been reported that United would like to add to their defensive ranks in the summer, with the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and Jean Clair Todibo linked.
The club could turn to Botman under the guidance of Ashworth, having been linked with the Dutchman when he was playing for French side Lille back in 2021.
Isak Alexander
Isak might be a target because Anthony Martial is expected to depart the team at the end of the current campaign.
It was rumored that United attempted to sabotage the agreement before the striker signed with Newcastle, but he rejected a transfer to Old Trafford.
Spanish news source Mundo Deportivo claims that United made a “sweet offer.”
