Three Barcelona Stars Are Waiting To Receive The Medical All-Clear For The Sevilla Clash

With the international break finished, FC Barcelona will return to La Liga action on Sunday night, hosting Sevilla at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

The Blaugrana are concerned about important forward Lamine Yamal’s availability ahead of the encounter, since he returned from Spain NT duty with muscular overload.

However, the availability of three players for Sunday’s game against Sevilla, as well as the next vital matchups against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, will provide a boost to Hansi Flick’s squad.

Gavi, Olmo, and Fermin will obtain the medical all-clear.

According to writer Adria Albets, the returning trio of Dani Olmo, Gavi, and Fermin Lopez are all expected to get the all-clear from Barcelona medical department ahead of  Sunday’s clash.

Gavi has been out of play for almost a year owing to an ACL injury, but he has been training with the group for nearly a month.

The La Masia jewel has even participated in training mini-matches and demonstrated a high level, with his comeback against Sevilla being almost taken for given.

Fermin, who experienced back-to-back muscular ailments during last month’s international break, has also fully recovered and will resume team training this week. All that remains is for him to receive official approval from the medical department.

While Olmo has healed, the 26-year-old summer arrival had not participated in group training until today, when he joined the rest of the squad.

And,  like Gavi and Fermin, he too will receive the medical discharge in time for Sunday’s game.
