Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos used his Instagram account to make an official announcement about his return to the German national team.
According to Kroos, Julian Nagelsmann, the coach of Germany, asked him to come back.
SB Nation notes the midfield player thinks Germany can compete well in the UEFA Euro this summer and is looking forward to it.

Given that he is currently 34 years old and playing some of the best football of his career, Kroos would be wise to take advantage of another chance to lead Germany in the European Championship. It’s also true, though, that the additional sleep he had been receiving during the previous FIFA breaks helped him be able to contribute significantly for Real Madrid even at the age of 34.
