Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Antoine Semenyo, an AFC Bournemouth winger.
The Spurs’ interest in Semenyo, which would reunite him with Dominic Solanke, was reported by football-london via the Mirror. Sky Sports News has revealed the Liverpool link, with Semenyo being mentioned as a potential replacement for Mohammed Salah.
In March, Richard Hughes announced his departure from AFC Bournemouth for Liverpool.
Hughes departed his post as Cherries’ first-team technical director to become Liverpool’s new sports director, thus relationships with players he previously worked with were always likely.

However, according to The Mirror, Semenyo, who only signed a new five-year contract with the Cherries in July, may be handed another enhanced agreement. The publication further reports that “the club’s hierarchy want to make it difficult for the Ghana international to be snapped up by a rival”
AFC Bournemouth recruited Antoine Semenyo in January 2023 for a reported £9 million, with Bristol City potentially paying an additional £1.5 million.
Semenyo is a Bristol City youth product who played 125 games for the club in all competitions, scoring 21 goals, before joining AFC Bournemouth.
Following loan periods with Bath City, Newport County, and Sunderland, his genuine breakthrough season as a goalscorer came in 2021/22, when he scored eight goals in his final 24 games for City.
During the first half of the next season, he scored nine goals for club and country and appeared in two World Cup matches for Ghana. That form convinced the Cherries to make a move on the explosive attacker.
Since joining Dean Court, the 24-year-old has 13 Premier League goals in 54 appearances, including four this season.
