Tottenham are considering a move for Lille attacker Jonathan David, according to Football Insider.
The Canadian international has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Manchester United and Chelsea keeping an eye on him.
While United has subsequently signed Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, Tottenham are trying to beat Chelsea to David’s signature.

The 24-year-old scored 19 league goals last season and 14 in 2024; no player in Ligue 1 has scored more this year.
Spurs are looking for a new striker and have been following Brentford’s Ivan Toney, with the Bees apparently willing to lower their asking price for the frontman due to a lack of interest.
David has only one year left on his current contract with Lille, and Olivier Letang has previously stated that the forward is set to leave the club this summer.
So far this summer, the north London club has only signed one player, Archie Gray from Leeds after his deal to Brentford fell through.
