“You see that he is a big character and everyone wants to follow him. He’s a big, big player and we hope to play with him.
“I am really excited to play with such a big player like Harry Kane. It’s an honour for me, I want to help him and I want to learn from him.”
Despite speculations tying Kane to moves to Manchester United and Chelsea this summer, Bayern Munich is the only club to make an official approach for him. Thomas Tuchel is looking to add a new striker to his team and is interested in working with Kane, who is thought to be open to a move to Munich.
According to The Telegraph, Spurs owner Joe Lewis has informed Levy that he would not allow the England international to run out his contract and leave as a free agent next summer. If Levy is unable to persuade Kane to extend his contract, Lewis expects the club to sell rather than forego a large amount, with Tottenham valuing Kane at about £100 million.
Bayern Munich are preparing a third offer for Kane and feel the striker does not want to sign a new contract with Tottenham, with the club prepared to give the 29-year-old as much as £400,000 per week to stay.
