Tottenham Set To Rebuff Bayern’s Second Bid Of £70M For Brilliant Forward

Tottenham Hotspur are set to reject Bayern Munich’s improved £70 million bid for talismanic forward, Harry Kane as it did not meet their valuation.

After Spurs rejected their initial offer of almost £60 million for the 29-year-old, the German outfit made an improved offer.

According to Metro, the second offer has an initial worth of £70 million and comes with a number of add-ons that would increase the total price.

Bayern believes that it will be a fair price for the striker, whose contract expires in 2024 and who will turn 30 this summer.

Spurs, on the other hand, are reportedly hesitant to consider any offers for Kane. And believe the attacker is worth more than £100 million.

Due to Spurs’ position, they are prepared to take the chance that they may lose Kane when his contract in North London expires in 2024.

Bayern are willing to pay a hefty price to acquire England captain Harry Kane because they are aware that the competition will be much stiffer in a year’s time.

Wednesday marks Kane’s scheduled return for preseason. But he has avoided the media throughout summer and has declined to comment on the rumors.

Manchester United are interested in signing Kane. But after hesitant negotiations, the club chose to concentrate on other targets. Since they believed Spurs would not be willing to compromise.
