Tottenham are reportedly stepping up their search of a dynamic £80 million England Under-21 attacking star as they prepare for a busy summer transfer season.
Spurs are likely to support whoever is in charge of the squad this summer, with everything pointing to Ange Postecoglou as the man to lead the club ahead despite a dismal record this season.
It’s well known that a slew of injuries to important players, notably in defence, have been the primary cause of Tottenham wheels coming off and tumbling down the Premier League standings – to go along with two domestic cup exits in the space of four days.
There is yet hope for silverware in the form of the Europa League. Winning would secure Champions League football for the following season and make the club more appealing in terms of attracting elite talent to north London.

One of those talents is Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who is expected to return to English football this summer after joining Manchester City’s academy in 2018, having previously played for Chelsea and Reading.
The 20-year-old went to Germany in 2020 and hasn’t looked back since, appearing 91 times for Dortmund’s first squad and scoring 16 goals and 14 assists.
Gittens’ remarkable showing this season has sparked interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea, but according to The Sun, the striker could be heading to north London instead.
He is primarily a left-sided attacker who has 11 England U21 caps and has played at every age group down to the Under 15s.
This year, he has become a regular for Dortmund manager Niko Kovac, appearing in 33 games, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists.
