Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly set to take over as the head coach of the Brazilian national team from 2024.
The Brazilian Football Federation has previously confirmed that Fernando Diniz of Fluminense would lead the team temporarily.
Ancelotti will take over Brazil in time for the Copa America, which will be played in the United States starting in June 2024. Ancelotti still has one season left on his Madrid deal.

The former AC Milan and Chelsea boss will become the first foreigner to lead Brazil for the first time in nearly 60 years.
Argentina’s Filpo Nunez served as Brazil’s last foreign head coach in 1965, being in the dug-out for just one game.
64-year-old Ancelotti has won the Champions League twice with both AC Milan and Real Madrid, among his numerous achievements.
Along with Real and Milan, he also won domestic league championships with Chelsea in England, Bayern Munich in Germany, and Paris Saint-Germain in France.
Tite led Brazil as their coach at the 2022 World Cupin Qatar. However, he resigned from the position after Croatia eliminated Brazil in the quarterfinals.
Since then, Ramon Menezes has served as the team’s caretaker manager.

In an earlier press release, the CBF announced that Diniz would be in command of the team for the coming year.
“Fernando Diniz will lead the Brazilian team for a year, and I’m sure he will do it with great competence, as always during his professional career,” said CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues in a video statement.
