Victor Moses is enjoying his newfound partnership with Pedro on Chelsea’s right flank.
The Nigeria international has been starved of opportunities since signing for Chelsea in 2012, going out on three different loan spells since.
However, Antonio Conte has seemingly realised Moses’ potential, having cemented his place in the Blues’ starting XI.
Indeed, the 25-year-old has switched position to a wing-back role in Conte’s 3-4-3, and often combined with fellow revitalised starter Pedro.
Reflecting on their strong displays, Moses told the club’s official website: “We’ve been working hard on it in training. Pedro has been playing really well, he’s getting used to the Premier League and he understands the game very well.
“He’s enjoying his football, scoring a few goals and helping out defensively as well. I like playing with Pedro, we have a great understanding between us and it’s working well for the team.
“He’s a great player and he’s won everything so you have to respect his achievements. The fans are enjoying what he brings to the team and we’re all pleased for him.”
Pedro endured a difficult debut campaign in the Premier League, registering a mere two assists in 29 appearances under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.
This term, he has already laid on five goals for his teammates in 11 Premier League games, though is yet to complete 90 minutes for Conte.
The in-form duo have helped Chelsea to six successive wins-to-nil in the top-flight, as Conte’s side have surged to the top of the table.
