A historic night for Real Madrid Basketball was witnessed by Real Madrid star forward Vinicius Junior.
The Basketball team overcame a 0-2 deficit in the Euroleague Playoffs against Partizan Belgrade and also erased a 15-point deficit in the decisive game in Madrid.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, an NBA All-Star and point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder, sat next to Vinicius during the entire contest and was spotted cheering on the squad as they went on an unbelievable scoring run in the second half.
Following the game, Vinicius posted a tweet saying “Anything is possible for a madridista” and then shared some words of encouragement.

Real Madrid Basketball are the first team to overcome a 2-0 deficit in the Euroleague’s Best-Of-Five Playoffs, and doing so in such an emotional and exciting manner in the decisive game could be a good omen for Vinicius and the rest of his teammates as they get ready to travel to Manchester for the return leg of the Champions League Semifinals.
With the tie grealy poised and even at 1-1, with Vinicius himself scoring a stunning goal, this could be a sign of things to come next week Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid legend and NBA superstar Luka Doncic also praised his former teammates after the comeback win.
