Vinicius Junior States ‘Terms And Conditions’ For A New Real Madrid Contract

Real Madrid reportedly contacted representatives for Vinicius Junior earlier this week to inquire about their requests for a new deal.

They have since received a response but President Florentino Perez is not likely to approve of it.

Vinicius rejected contract negotiations in September, believing he could secure a better deal if he continued to establish himself.

Los Blancos had not intended to start contract negotiations with him until the end of the season.

However, Real Madrid, who are eager to retain him, has accelerated their timeline when it was revealed that Vinicius had visited with Saudi Arabia to learn about their interest and contract offering.

But certainly not at the amount that Vinicius’s agents have requested, nor at any cost.

According to Cadena SER, they have set three requirements for Real Madrid to meet.

Vinicius is eager to surpass Kylian Mbappe, who joined this summer and signed a contract worth €15 million a year, which is comparable to Vinicius’ current salary plus a €40 million signing bonus, reports Football Espana.

The Brazilian wants to make over €25 million a year and they want Real Madrid’s offer to “compete” economically with Saudi Arabia’s.

A transfer to Saudi Arabia is more likely because Real Madrid currently has little intention of meeting any of these requirements.
