Vinicius Junior’s representatives have reportedly denied the reports that Real Madrid are close to agreeing a new long-term contract with the Brazilian.
According to sources close to the club, Los Blancos are aware that any offer from Saudi Arabia may be significantly higher than what they are prepared—or able—to match.
Meanwhile, Managing Madrid claims the Brazilian forward is looking for a new contract worth around €30 million a year, which would reflect his rising prominence in world football.

In an interview with The Athletic, Madrid clarified that the two sides have been negotiating for a while and that this was well known.
However, the player’s group vehemently disputes that a new deal is imminent. Vinicius’ contract proposal from a few months ago was not well received by the Spanish giants, but according to his camp, the club have not yet presented another offer.
The financial difference between Madrid’s offer and what he could make elsewhere poses a serious problem, even though Vinicius is still dedicated to his current team and eager to play at the top levels of European football.
According to sources, he is aware that moving to Saudi Arabia would reduce his international visibility and possibly jeopardize his ambitions to become the world’s best player.
