Kyle Walker, Harry Maguire and Sam Johnstone have all left the England squad through injury ahead of Tuesday’s friendly clash against Belgium.
Brazil defeated Gareth Southgate’s team 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday night, their first loss in fifteen months, thanks to a late goal from teenage substitute Endrick.
Prior to the England match against Belgium, Walker, Maguire, and backup goalkeeper Johnstone have all left the England camp due to injuries.
James Trafford, receiving his first senior call-up, and Rico Lewis, who made his debut against North Macedonia in November, have since joined from the under-21 squad.
According to The Independent, the Football Association said in a statement: “James Trafford and Rico Lewis have moved across from the MU21s to join the England senior men’s squad.
“The pair report to Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground following the withdrawal of Harry Maguire, Kyle Walker and Sam Johnstone through injury.
“Maguire, Walker and Johnstone have returned to their respective clubs for assessment having sustained injuries in recent days.”
Maguire, Walker, and Johnstone have withdrawn from the match, joining Bukayo Saka and captain Harry Kane who left earlier.

It is now a big headache for Pep Guardiola as Walker, who is a very important player in his team might be out for an extended period. Which can derail the Manchester City’s aim for another treble.
Manchester United on the other hand will hoping to finish the season on a high. A 4th-placed finish and a FA Cup win are on the cards for the Red Devils. Having Maguire out for a considerable period can also dash their hopes.
